The Vietnamese Lunar New Year is around the corner. Artists and staff of the Furama Resort are in a "peak time" preparing the famous "Tet Village Market" which took place for 3 nights: 9th, 10th and 11th February 2018 (falling on 24th, 25th, and 26th December – Lunar Calendar) and the Tet Dinner Buffet.

Furama Resort Danang magically turned into a traditional Vietnamese market. The Furama Resort's staff created a true atmosphere at the International Convention Palace's garden area to present the scene of a classic Vietnam street food life to call in the Year of the Dog. A snapshot of Vietnamese rice-culture, bamboo plants, banana trees and especially food stalls were set up for visitors to stop by and enjoy square and cylinder formed glutinous rice cakes together with hot tea. Chefs introduced ginger, green squash, coconut, and sweet potatoes to make yummy jams attractive not only to the children. Bamboo dragon flies, silk lanterns, bamboo flutes, and bonsai were also available for gifts and home decoration. The popular fortune telling as well as calligraphy booths were a part of the set-up for visitors to foresee bad luck, welcome good luck and learn more on their own destiny. The bustling atmosphere, the scent of cakes, and tea enhanced the spirit of the Lunar New Year.

It has been a wonderful week for the whole Management and Sales & Marketing Team of 52 members from Furama Resort Danang, Furama Villas Danang, Ariyana Convention Centre, L'Alyana Ninh Van Bay, Ariyana Smartcondotel Nha Trang, and Furama's overseas representatives from Hong Kong, China and Singapore, gathering all together for the Annual Sales & Marketing Kick-off Conference 2018 on January 13th and 14th, to review business activities during 2017 and propose their action plans for a prosperous 2018.

The workshop on "Negotiation Skills" guided by Mr. Shankar Daniel and Ms. Shiela Gomez from SG Luxe Collection, Singapore, has brought numerous vital skills and knowledge in terms of negotiating in business, applying them into work for a maximization of company profit as well as ensuring customers' satisfaction.

HONG KONG CUISINE: A CULINARY JOURNEY THROUGH THE PEARL OF THE ORIENT @Furama Resort Danang

The four-day Hong Kong Culinary Weekend at Furama Resort Danang from July 27th to July 30th showcasing Hong Kong Dim Sum Set Lunch and Hong Kong-inspired Seafood  Dinner Buffet has brought an appealing culinary journey to visitors and local people. Being held at our signature Café Indochine Restaurant by one of the most stunning beaches in the world, the event has attracted gourmets by its world-class food, refreshing drinks and live entertainment, making it one of Furama Resort Danang's successful summer events.

In this appetizing journey, our guests had the opportunity to tuck into the delicious Asian delicacies demonstrated by two prominent chefs Ting Kam Hung and Wong Kwok Tai from Hong Kong's Gold Coast Country Club. The all-you-can-eat Hong Kong Dim Sum Set Lunch featured a variety of of 'Pearl-of-the-Orient' City's Dim Sum delights including 'Steamed shrimp dumplings' , 'Steamed BBQ pork buns', 'Jelly fish and Chinese celery marinated in sesame oil', 'Double-boiled chicken soup, congee, Chinese yam and wolfberry', 'Sautéed scallops and asparagus with XO chili sauce' and 'Chilled mango pudding' which was offered daily from 11AM until 2PM each day of the event.

Another highlight of this spectacular culinary event included a Buy 3 Get 1 Hong Kong-inspired Seafood Buffet between 6.30 PM and 10.30 PM. Gourmets were able to indulge in such Hong Kong favorites as freshly grilled 'Peking duck', 'Soy sauce chicken', etc. Besides, the seafood buffet dinner offering a variety of the finest seafood and BBQ delights such as freshly lobster, octopus, squids; an international salad show cooking station; a selection of international cheeses; a huge range of Spanish, Italian and French hams; a "Cooked to your taste" Australian leg of lamb, American pork ribs and honey chicken wing station; an Asian Sushi, Sashimi, Kimbap, Maki rolls station; a carving station serving American beef and an extensive international dessert corner satisfying any sweet tooth. A snapshot of Hong Kong's culture was also introduced by cultural dancing performances, which successfully set the mood for a delightful Asian culinary journey.
