The newly opened Danaksara restaurant, nestled in the heart of the fabulous Furama Villas Danang, was officially launched on 10th July 2018.

This latest high-concept restaurant makes the culinary beach resort a gourmet destination for all traditional food culture seekers, with a nostalgic ambience that recalls historical memoirs of the country embraced in the diversified traditional Danang and Central Vietnam' cuisine passed down through generations. We are honoured to be part in preserving our sacred motherland's  history and culinary culture.

In the middle of this idyllic green oasis, boasting spectacular views to our central pool, leaving behind all the hustle and bustle of city life, hardly anyone knows this area was once a Military Base of the United States and part of the Salt Water Airport where US aircrafts took off to bomb North Vietnam during the war.

City welcomes large number of foreign visitors over Tet

During the first few days of the Lunar New Year, Da Nang has welcomed thousands of foreign visitors who have arrived by both plane and cruise ship.  This is a positive sign that 2013 will be an optimistic year for the city's tourism sector.

According to tourism experts, this year will witness a significant change in the visitor markets to the city.  In particular, there will be a considerable increase in the number of foreign tourists from Asian countries, while the city will see a sharp decrease in the number from Europe and the USA.  This is mainly attributed to the current global economic difficulties.

The city saw a 26% year-on-year increase in the number of international air passengers arriving in the city during the Tet festival - more than 5,000 on 41 direct flights.

From now until the end of this year, it is expected that many new routes will be opened, including those from Russia, Bangkok, Hong Kong and some of the large cities in China.  These will help to bring nearly 190,000 visitors to the city, about a 20% year-on-year increase.

In addition to the popular local tourist attractions, such as the Museum of Cham Sculpture, the Marble Mountains, the Linh Ung Pagoda, and the BigC Mall, international tourists have the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Vietnamese musical performance at the Nguyen Hien Dinh Tuong Theatre.

The Deputy Director of the city's Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Tran Chi Cuong, said that in the 1st quarter of this year, Da Nang is likely to receive over 42,000 international passengers from 47 cruise ships, a 31% year-on-year increase.
