The newly opened Danaksara restaurant, nestled in the heart of the fabulous Furama Villas Danang, was officially launched on 10th July 2018.

This latest high-concept restaurant makes the culinary beach resort a gourmet destination for all traditional food culture seekers, with a nostalgic ambience that recalls historical memoirs of the country embraced in the diversified traditional Danang and Central Vietnam' cuisine passed down through generations. We are honoured to be part in preserving our sacred motherland's  history and culinary culture.

In the middle of this idyllic green oasis, boasting spectacular views to our central pool, leaving behind all the hustle and bustle of city life, hardly anyone knows this area was once a Military Base of the United States and part of the Salt Water Airport where US aircrafts took off to bomb North Vietnam during the war.

FURAMA’S EXECUTIVE CHEF DOAN VAN TUAN TO JUDGE DANANG TOP CULINARY COMPETITION

Furama Resort Danang is delighted to announce that our Executive Chef Doan Van Tuan has been confirmed as one of the judges for this year's "Open Chef Competition 2016" on September 25 at Danang's Eastern Sea Park.

"Open Chef Competition" is one of the most anticipated events of the year for young professionals from hotels and restaurants in Danang, Hoi An, Hue, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City. The event, aimed at highlighting the great talents of the culinary world, and promoting Danang as an ideal tourism destination, pits the country's young culinary chefs against each other in a live kitchen cook off creating a four-course meal for 4 people within only 150 minutes.

With over 15 years of experience as a top culinary expert in both international and local cuisines, chef Tuan is an ideal choice for judge. At Furama Resort, he devotes all his time to create the best of signature dishes and set up great culinary events such as the yearly Tet Village Market, amazing Gala Dinners for many kind of groups, our Vietnamese and International menus, the delightful Festive Season fares, the Vietnam Folklore Night as well as different international culinary events such as the Indian Food Festival, Mexican Week, Thai Cuisine Week, and others. He was also a true Ambassador of the Furama Culinary Team to take part in many cross-cultural food events, bringing the Vietnamese cuisine and culture to India, Italy, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan.
