On April 4th 2017, Furama Resort Danang was honored to host an interesting and useful talk show: "FUTURISTA", an important event accompanied by Miss Universe Vietnam 2017.

At the event, Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Pham Huong, National Director of Miss Universe in Vietnam Duong Truong Thien Ly, Runner-up 1 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2015 Le Hang, Miss Ao Dai Vietnam 2016 Truong Dieu Ngoc and Headmistress of John Robert Power Vietnam Vo Xuan Trang gave their inspirational speeches for women wishing to attend the worldwide pageant to develop the confidence they need to achieve their personal best. The talk show went amazing when Miss Universe Vietnam Pham Huong sung the Vietnamese folk songs "Da Co Hoai Lang" (Night Song of the Missing Husband) that made her reputation at Miss Universe 2015 Talent semifinals. After the ebullient 3-hour talk show, the contestants were encouraged to get out of her comfort zone, be themselves, and continue to define what it means to be Confidently Beautiful.

On March 30h, 2017, the group of 40 government delegates including Vice Chairman of the Government Office – Mr. Nguyen Xuan Thanh, Leader of Material & Logistics Department – National Committee cum Deputy Minister of Construction - Mr. Le Quang Hung, Vice Chairman of Danang People Committee – Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, and other delegates have visited and inspected the Ariyana Da Nang Exhibition & Convention Center (ADECC) which is the venue for the APEC SUMMIT 2017.

FURAMA’S INDIAN FOOD FESTIVAL WOWED HUNDREDS OF VISITORS

The Indian Food Festival, a first time event, held at The Furama Resort from May 26th to 29th attracted hundreds of Central region residents and foreign visitors to this culinary resort to immerge in all the "delights of the senses" that reflect the riches of Indian Culture.

This one-of-a-kind festival saw the attendance of 2 Chefs, Mr. Sandeep Kalra and Mr. Bhagwat Singh from the fabulous 5* Trident Gurgaon Hotel in New Delhi (an Oberoi Group Hotel) showcasing their artistic flare with the special blending of Indian herbs and spices at the Indian A la Carte Lunch and Buffet Dinner. In particular, the Indian Lunch introduced 20 signature Indian delicacies including 'Goan shrimp curry', 'Mulligatawny soup', 'Kashmiri maaz seekh kababa'. Meanwhile, the Dinner Buffet highlighted 30 Indian dishes combine with 50 seafood delights "cooked to your taste" featuring chefs cooking in front of the guests at the open kitchen. Guests could also taste dishes from a wide range of delicacies such as lobsters, oysters, salmon, copia; beef, pork, chicken and vegetable options; sushi & sashimi station served with different sauces; and Indian - Western - Vietnamese desserts station. The buffet was set at the colorful Café Indochine Restaurant and guest were also treated to traditional Indian dance performance and Henna Tattooing professionals.

Noticeably, this July, 2 talented and successful Vietnamese chefs from the culinary team of Furama Resort Danang will travel to India in a "Vietnamese Food Promotion" at this luxury 5* Trident Gurgaon Hotel. This 10-day culinary exchange program is to share Vietnamese's culinary story with the world, and to bring the world's great restaurants closer together by sharing ideas, experiences and talents through fine dining.
