On May 21st and 22nd, Furama Resort Danang was thrilled to welcome a group of 15 delegates from the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and some main sponsors for an inspection trip in preparation for the APEC SUMMIT 2017 at the Ariyana Danang Exhibition & Convention Center (ADECC).

The ADECC will host APEC meetings attended by 21 leaders of member countries as well as 15,000 representatives of major enterprises and 6,000 members from the international media.

On May 14, 2017, Furama Resort Danang Lifeguard team was awarded Overall Winner at the Danang International Lifeguard Competition 2017 which also included 2 individual First Prizes and 1 Third Prizes.

Furama’s Sous Chef to become the Vietnamese Cuisine Ambassador in Thailand

From March 3rd – 8th, 2014, Mr. Doan Van Tuan, the Vietnamese Sous Chef of Furama Resort Danang, Vietnam, presented at Bangkok, Thailand to participate in a culinary program: "Vietnam Cuisine Week" with the re-opening of the "Le Danang" restaurant at the Centara Grand Hotel.

Two months earlier, within the cuisine and culture exchange program with Centara Grand hotel, Bangkok Thailand; Furama Danang welcomed Chef Santipap Petchwao for the "Thailand Culinary Week" at the Furama resort.

With the talents of Chef Tuan – a son from Ha Noi, Thailand's diners will have a good opportunity to experience the true Vietnamese flavors and indulge themselves in Vietnamese appetizers, Hue Spring Roll, Pho Ha Noi, Quang Noodles, seafood delicacies, etc. The harmonious taste and unique ingredients of Vietnam will bring new and fresh savories to Thailand's international city of Bangkok. Over 40 traditional dishes from the great array of Vietnamese cuisine were chosen to enhance the palates of guests visiting the event.
