Ariyana Joint Stock Company, the owner of Furama Resort and Furama Villas Danang, has announced that a Ground Breaking Ceremony will be held at the end of March, 2016 to celebrate the start of the Ariyana Convention & Exhibition Centre project in preparation for the 25th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC 2017) Summit. The event will be held onsite with the attendance of many world leaders from the Asia Pacific Assembly of countries.
Located to the south of Furama Villas, the construction is expected to start in March, 2016 and be completed by spring of 2017. The 3-storey Ariyana Convention & Exhibition Centre occupies an area of 4,390 m2, with a total construction area of 11,000 m2. The construction also includes a Grand Ballroom of 2,500 seats, 450 m2 of other meeting room space, and a 1,480 m2 foyer which is suitable for international conventions and exhibitions. A large car parking as well as a full back of house area are planned for the ground floor. To supplement this great project will be a 5-star, 25-storey resort & suites in a 2nd stage of the project planned to open in 2018.
