According to Danang municipal Department of Tourism, the city has seen a significant growth in the number of foreign tourist arrivals in 2017.

It is estimated that the total number of visitors coming to Danang city has reached 6.6 million in 2017, rising by 19% compared to 2016 and achieving 104.8% of this year's target.

The total number of foreign visitor arrivals is expected to have increased 36.8% compared to 2016 to 2.3 million this year, achieving 114.7% of 2017's target. About 4.3 million domestic guests are predicted to have visited Danang in 2017, rising by 11.3% against 2016, obtaining 100.1% of this year's target.

INDIAN FOOD FESTIVAL HITS CENTRAL VIETNAM AT FURAMA RESORT DANANG

For the first time ever, an Indian Food Festival will be held at Furama Resort Danang from May 26th to 29th, giving the Central region residents and foreign visitors an opportunity to get the true taste of India and a glimpse of Indian performing arts.

The hearty feast will be on display by two Chefs, Mr. Bhagwat Singh and Mr. Sandeep Kalra from the luxury 5* Trident Gurgaon Hotel in New Delhi, showcasing their artistic flare by demonstrating their special dishes with a mix of Indian herbs and spices such as coriander seeds, green cardamom, coconut milk and yogurt, etc. at the Indian A la Carte Lunch and Buffet Dinner.

For lunch, 20 signature Indian delicacies will be offered including 'Goan shrimp curry', 'Mulligatawny soup', 'Kashmiri maaz seekh kababa' at the exceptional prize of VND 150,000 – 480,000/dish. During the Dinner Buffet highlights, 30 Indian dishes along with 50 seafood delicacies "cooked to your taste" featuring chefs cooking right in front of you at the open kitchen. Guests will have the choice from a wide range of delicacies such as lobsters, oysters, salmon, copia; beef, pork, chicken and vegetable options; sushi & sashimi station served with different sauces; and Indian - Western - Vietnamese desserts station. The buffet is set at colorful Café Indochine Restaurant, open from 6 pm – 10 pm, April 30th - May 2nd, 2016.
