On October 29th 2017, The President of Vietnam Mr. Tran Dai Quang paid a visit to Furama Resort Danang and Ariyana Convention Centre – the hosting venues for major events of APEC Summit 2017.

In October 2017, Furama Resort Danang continued to conduct marine rescue practice and training for 40 life guards in difficult situations of drowning and other dangers in order to prepare for the APEC 2017 Summit. In addition, Furama has upgraded and purchased new equipment for rescue work. Recently, Furama rescue workers have been trained in First aid by experts from Australia to thoroughly prepare for important upcoming events.

New featured Seafood buffet

By the middle of August, the Café Indochine restaurant will continue to launch its seafood dinner buffet but with a new face where customers will easily experience the diverse styles and processing of seafood.

The seafood is divided into different areas at different corners. For each of these features, diners actively select the desired processing according to the type of grilled, steamed, sauteed or.... any seafood even eaten raw. Proper buffet arrangement, from the appetizer to the main dishes and desserts will ultimately help customers to be at ease while enjoying the buffet.

Focusing on traditional seafood flavors from the Central region as well as Danang City, Furama Resort introduces visitors to a Central region Seafood buffet dinner. Fresh seafood, carefully selected from Da Nang, Quy Nhon and Nha Trang is the first criterion that attracts gourmets. Next, food will be carefully processed and prepared in different ways, from grilled (shrimp, scallops curly, snails, fish, betel residue, Cobia, etc.) to roasted with tamarind style (shrimp, scallops, crab, etc.) and steamed (round scad, squid, etc.) to even diagonally grilled (shrimp, etc.). The same kind of seafood but with different ways of processing, customers will have the opportunity to experience the diverse coastal flavors.

For those who are "addicted" to raw food, the Buffet also contains a sushi area and a fresh Oysters display. To make everything extra special our chefs have prepared a great variety of truly special sauces which will be displayed on the buffet. These sauces are of a great variety as well and will include tamarind sauce, lemon butter sauce, garlic, black pepper, mango sauce, béarnaise, lemon chili sauce and many more which will blow your taste buds away for every dish.
