“VIETNAM FOLKLORE NIGHT” – A NIGHT TO REMEMBER

Vietnam Folklore Night – Furama's unique end-of-year celebrations was successfully held at the resort on December 31. With idyllic rural decors and convivial celebrations, this spectacular event gave 274 guests one surprise after another which they will cherish for a long time.

This Vietnam Folklore Night began with a cocktail party at the pre-function area which featured a huge lotus lake and a rice fields setting of a legendary Vietnamese country side. A rustic boat was floating right on the lake giving the guests dressed in traditional "Ao Dai", the opportunity to take many idyllic photos. Furthermore, 1,000 colorful lanterns illuminated the whole area, evoking a brilliant time-honored antique ambiance of an old village in the countryside. The whole decoration was completed with old houses coming together with green bamboo, forming a village square featuring traditional food stalls; all simply natural yet fascinating.

The evening then continued with a lavish ‪buffet dinner with a truly lavish 100 international and Vietnamese dishes of fresh seafood, juicy meats including renowned ‪‎Wagyu beef prepared in Japanese Teppanyaki style and 'Chilled tender bird's nest in rock sugar, dried longan & goji berries' and so many more delicacies from many corners of the world.

To add up to the terrific atmosphere, Ms. Au Bao Ngan from The Voice Vietnam 2013 and Ms. Sevinch Orujova from The X-Factor 2014 kicked off the night with their own version of classic songs performed with their strong and fascinating voices. Later, Minh Nhat Dance troupe performed charming folk dances from around the country bringing participants a second to none experience. When it came to the expected moment of midnight, VIP guests were invited onto the stage to "Gong" and herald the New Year which was followed by a dynamic DJ's performance giving guests the chance to dance the night away.
