As a part of the Vietnam – Japan Cultural Exchange and Food Festival which took place at City Administration Park in Danang from July 15th – 16th, 2014; Furama Resort Danang introduced its Cuisine booth with mainly Vietnamese dishes but also some dishes with western influence to local guests and tourists alike.
This event featured a wide range of cultural activities of both countries, Viet Nam and Japan, including music & dancing performances, tea ceremony, calligraphy, Ikebana flower arranging, Origami (paper folding art), Kirigami (paper cutting art), a cosplay contest, and manga comic books. The festival also provided a space for Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants.
Under the skillful hands of Furama's culinary team, the resort's booth brought to guests more than 30 dishes selected from the 3 regions of Vietnam, with special flavors such as: spring rolls, Bun Cha, Quang noodle, seafood skewers, chicken rice and a variety of snack, ice cream and desserts. The highlight was the fresh Vietnamese Moon Cakes with European flavors of chocolate, almond and tiramisu... created by Chef Francesco Mino. All dishes were offered at just 30,000 - 60,000 VND/dish.
