Entering its second edition, the 2025 Danang International Tourism Fair returns on a larger scale and with more in-depth content. Among its highlights, the B2B Buyers Meet Sellers space is regarded as a centerpiece of the program and one of the largest B2B events in the country.
Taking place over two days, October 16–17, 2025, the event recorded over 6,000 trade appointments between Vietnamese and international tourism enterprises – a record number, reaffirming Danang’s growing appeal and influence on the regional tourism map.
Co-organizing the event with the Danang Tourism Association, Mr. Andre Pierre – Vice President of HorecFex Vietnam – noted: “With years of experience organizing leading exhibitions and innovation forums in the Horeca industry, we are honored to accompany and contribute professional expertise to an international-scale event in the city. The 2025 Danang International Tourism Fair is one of the practical activities responding to Resolution 226/NQ-CP on sectoral growth targets, in which the tourism industry aims to welcome at least 25 million international visitors to Vietnam in 2025. The organization of the event not only affirms Danang’s position but also demonstrates the city’s commitment to accompanying the national development strategy.
A Cooperation Space – A Driving Force for Sustainable Development
Under the theme “Rise and Breakthrough,” this year’s event attracts over 300 sellers, 110 international buyers from key markets such as Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, South Korea, China, Japan, Russia, India, CIS countries, and Western Europe, along with more than 180 domestic travel companies and nearly 2,000 participants representing travel agencies, hotels, restaurants, service providers, and tour guides. The event promises numerous practical cooperation opportunities and is expected to become an important boost for trade promotion and destination marketing for Danang.

Within the framework of the event, there are specialized workshops, the Congress of the Danang Travel Association for the 2025–2029 term, and various in-depth discussion sessions on strategies for attracting visitors and developing new tourism products.
At the thematic discussion session, the Danang Hotel Association presented a paper titled “Solutions to Improve Service Quality and Tourism Human Resources in Danang,” emphasizing that human resource quality is the core factor in maintaining and enhancing destination competitiveness.
The presentation pointed out that Danang currently has a balanced workforce structure between experienced Gen X professionals and dynamic, tech-savvy Gen Y–Z, creating a solid foundation for innovation. However, challenges remain in maintaining service stability during peak seasons and the shortage of mid-level management. To address these, several specific solutions were proposed: enhancing managerial capacity through advanced training programs in collaboration with IBH Academy, ST4SD, and EHL Switzerland; standardizing tourism professional competencies based on ASEAN standards; and promoting technology application in training and service, including Danang Tourism E-learning, Big Data analysis, and multilingual AI chatbots to personalize visitor experiences.
Particularly, on October 17, 2025, the Fair will continue with two key sessions:
The “Strategy for Attracting Russian and CIS Markets 2026” workshop – where participants will discuss trends, potentials, and policies to expand the Russian – CIS tourist markets after the recovery period. The event is expected to pave the way for Danang and Central Vietnam to reaffirm their position in this market segment.
The “Orientation for Danang Tourism Development in the New Era” workshop – focusing on solutions to expand visitor markets, diversify distinctive tourism products, enhance visitor experiences, and strengthen linkages between businesses, destinations, and local communities, thereby improving destination competitiveness in the context of integration and digital transformation.
Through a series of business meetings, workshops, and multidimensional networking activities, the 2025 Danang International Tourism Fair is not only a trade promotion event but also a strategic step forward in elevating Vietnam’s tourism position on the global stage.
The B2B meetings, specialized workshops, and professional exchange programs within the event are expected to open up numerous practical cooperation opportunities between domestic and international enterprises, contributing to an increase in international arrivals, boosting investment, and reinforcing international partners’ confidence in the Vietnamese tourism market.
Danang, as “The Leading Event and Tourism City of the Region,” continues to affirm its organizational capacity, dynamism, and spirit of integration in attracting resources, connecting the business community, and creating sustainable value for the tourism industry.
