HorecFex 2024 achieves great success with over 2,500 attendees, 50 tech exhibits, and 55 leading speakers, bringing breakthroughs to the hospitality industry

From September 23-24, 2024, the HorecFex 2024 Danang – Vietnam event was successfully held at Ariyana Convention Centre Danang under the theme “Exhibition & Forum on Technology and Innovation in the Hospitality”. Over the two-day event, there were an exhibition featuring 50 booths showcasing technology products from the supply chain of services and tourism. The forum included 9 workshop sessions with 40 presentations and discussions on the application of new technologies, digital transformation, and hotel management in the new era. The workshops featured the participation and insights of more than 55 speakers, both domestic and international, from leading companies in the industry such as Microsoft, Oracle, FPT, etc. Notably, speaker Hoàng Nam Tiến attended and shared on the topic ‘Leadership & Leading Change’ in the morning session on September 24, 2024. HorecFex 2024 Danang – Vietnam welcomed over 2,500 attendees, including entrepreneurs, business leaders, and CEOs from the Horeca industry (Hotel, Restaurant, Catering), and more.

Speaking on behalf of the host city, Mr. Hồ Kỳ Minh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, stated: “The rapid growth of the tourism industry has driven hotels, restaurants, and F&B service providers to continuously enhance their quality and adopt cutting-edge technologies to elevate guest experiences. Mrs. Đỗ Thị Hồng Xoan, Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Tourism Association and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Hotel Association, shared that Vietnam is currently ranked by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) as one of the 10 fastest-growing tourism destinations globally. Since joining UNWTO in 1981, Vietnam now boasts over 38,000 tourist accommodations, including around 265 five-star hotels, 480 four-star hotels, and 1,000 three-star hotels. The adoption of new and advanced technologies to shape the future and lead the industry’s development in this era of integration is increasingly urgent and critical.
