Danang Chef Talents Competition 2023

On December 19, at the International Convention Palace (ICP) of Furama Resort Danang, the event introducing the Danang Hotels Solutions 2023 and the “Danang Chef Talents Competition 2023” took place. This event was co-organized by the Danang City Labor Federation and the Danang Hotel Association, in collaboration with the USA Poultry and Egg Export Council (USAPEEC), the Danang Culinary Culture Association, and Furama Resort Danang. The competition received attention and sponsorship from 30 different sponsors from various industries supplying the hotel sector.

Under the theme “Danang Cuisine Integrating into the World,” the competition attracted the participation of 40 professional and talented chefs from hotels, supermarkets, and restaurants in Da Nang. Twenty teams competed with the theme “Danang Cuisine Integrating into the World,” promising impressive dishes that adhere to international standards. The competition showcased creative combinations of imported chicken from the USA and local spices.

In addition to the main event, various sideline activities attracted widespread interest from Hotel Association members, service providers, and tourism-related businesses. These included a 30-booth exhibition, showcasing products related to Danang Hotel Solutions 2023 such as food, kitchen equipment, and technology companies. There were also workshops on Purchasing Club, Danang Hotel Association Conference, Business and Marketing in the Modern Era, Room Division Workshop, Information Technology Workshop, and Finance Club Workshop.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, Chairman of the Danang Hotel Association, shared, “The Danang Chef Talents Competition and the Exhibition of Danang Hotel Solutions are annual events, and this year marks the second time they have been held in Danang. This year’s event has received strong support from many accompanying units, sponsors, hotels, and resorts participating, indicating a robust recovery and a bright future for Danang’s tourism.”

The “Danang Chef Talents Competition 2023” is an annual event hosted by the Danang Hotel Association with the goal of creating a common playground, attracting talented chefs, fostering exchange, learning, and promoting the beauty of local cuisine to the world.
