Celebration of the 75th Anniversary of Vietnam-China Diplomatic Relations at Furama International Convention Palace (ICP)
On January 8, 2025, the Furama International Convention Palace (ICP) was honored to host a significant event: The Reception Dinner commemorating the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China (January 18, 1950 – January 18, 2025), alongside the celebration of the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025.
This prestigious occasion brought together 250 distinguished guests, including senior leaders from Da Nang such as Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang, Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Council; Mr. Le Van Trung, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang; Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People’s Committee; and leaders of various departments and agencies. Representing China were Consul General Dong Bich Du, officials and staff from the Chinese Consulate General in Da Nang, as well as representatives of international organizations and consular offices.
In his speech, Mr. Ngo Xuan Thang highlighted that the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and China is not only a proud historical milestone but also a strong foundation for continued cooperation and mutual understanding. He also praised the Chinese Consulate General’s role as a vital bridge in fostering cultural exchanges and economic collaboration. Additionally, he expressed hope for meaningful activities to be held as part of the “Vietnam-China Year of Cultural Exchange 2025.”

In 2024, Furama Resort Danang welcomed up to 83,000 domestic and international guests. Furama – Ariyana International Tourism Complex Joins Danang in Green Initiative
On December 21st, Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex joined the Danang City Government in a tree planting activity at Man Thai Beach. The initiative, led by the Chairman of the Danang People’s Committee, aims to enhance the city’s green spaces, improve coastal landscapes, and mitigate the impacts of climate change and coastal erosion.
Mr. Andre Pierre Gentzsch, General Manager of Furama – Ariyana International Tourism Complex, actively participated in the tree planting, demonstrating the resort’s strong commitment to environmental protection and community responsibility.
“This initiative not only contributes to environmental protection but also reflects our love for nature, standing alongside Danang City in building an image of a green, clean, and beautiful destination,” shared Mr. Gentzsch Andre Pierre.
Vice Chairman of the Danang People’s Committee, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong, and Director of the Department of Tourism, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, also participated in the tree-planting ceremony. During the event, the Management Board honored contributors and placed plaques at the planting sites to acknowledge their efforts.
This event further solidifies Furama – Ariyana’s position as a leader in sustainable tourism in Central Vietnam.

A heartfelt welcome to the esteemed Indian film crew of ‘Love in Vietnam’. Furama Resort Danang collaborates with ‘Love In Vietnam’ film production, which shall play a vital role between two countries, India and Vietnam. This association reflects love between two nations and enhances the cultural heritage with the support of diplomacy between the Indian and Vietnam Embassy.
Directed by Rahhat Shah Kazmi, with renowned Bollywood producer Captain Rahul Bali and Vietnamese producer Nguyen Cao Tung, and featuring talented actors like Kha Ngan, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Avneet Kaur, this film is sure to be a hit.
