Da Nang Leads Central Vietnam’s Tourism During Holiday With Over Vnd 2,400 Billion In Revenue

During the recent 5-day holiday for April 30 and May 1, Central Vietnam’s tourism sector recorded impressive growth figures, with Da Nang emerging as one of the top tourist destinations nationwide.

According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, during the holiday period (April 30, May 4), the city welcomed approximately 610,000 visitors, up more than 50% compared to the same period last year. Notably, international arrivals reached over 230,000, a 44% increase compared to 2024. The strong influx of international tourists highlights the appeal of high-end beach resorts such as Furama Resort Danang, where guests enjoy a unique combination of exquisite heritage cuisine and modern amenities.

The city’s total tourism revenue during the holiday is estimated at VND 2,426 billion, reflecting the strong momentum of the local tourism sector. Da Nang International Airport recorded 654 flights, a 12% increase compared to normal days, underscoring the growing demand for travel to the city during this time.
