Ho Chi Minh City, August 8, 2024, HR Asia magazine has honored the Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex with the HR Asia Awards 2024 – “Best Companies to Work for in Asia”
This recognition is based on outstanding and effective human resources policies and activities, demonstrating a strong commitment to developing a dynamic and diverse work environment. With the theme “The Definitive Z Choice – Entering a New Era with Generation Z,” the organizers stated: “This year’s winning companies reflect the challenges and opportunities posed by the rising Gen Z workforce, creating a multi-generational work environment. These companies not only excel in recruiting and retaining young talent but also in fostering a corporate culture that respects diversity, collaboration, and continuous innovation, setting an example for other businesses in the industry.”
William Ng, Editor-in-Chief of HR Asia magazine, said: “With the increasing number of Zoomers joining the workforce, new challenges for the HR sector have emerged. The differing life experiences and expectations between generations can create discord in the workplace. We are delighted to see more organizations in Vietnam addressing this. They are striving to minimize potential issues and increase employee satisfaction through policies that promote workplace inclusion and engagement, while also listening more to their employees.”
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quynh, General Director of Indochina Beach Hotel Joint Stock Company (Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex), expressed his joy: “I am very proud of the relentless efforts of all 800 employees of the Furama – Ariyana Danang International Tourism Complex. This HR Asia Awards honor is not only recognition of what we have achieved but also motivation to continue improving and enhancing the quality of work and life for all employees.”
“We have always believed that people are the most crucial factor in the sustainable development of a business. Not just through salaries, benefits, or a good working environment, but building and maintaining a close relationship between employees’ families and the business is the key to the success of each business unit, contributing to the development of a stable, high-quality workforce, which is the foundation for sustainable tourism development.” Mr. Quynh added.
