Opening the Cultural Culinary Event: “Furama Tet Village Market 2024”

On February 2nd, we were honoured to welcome Ms Truong Thi Hong Hanh – Director of Da Nang Department of Tourism, Mr Le Tan – Cultural Culinary Researcher, along with the leadership team of Furama Resort Da Nang and hundreds of culinary enthusiasts gathering at Furama Resort Da Nang to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

Our esteemed guests kicked off the “Furama Tet Village Market 2024” event with the drum beating, followed by a series of engaging activities such as folk singing, a traditional rice cake wrapping contest, lotus and lion dances, ceremonial singing, and a spectacular Vietnamese culinary feast.

Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh commented, “Furama Resort Da Nang has actively and effectively promoted the culinary culture of Da Nang and Vietnam to both domestic and international tourists. Additionally, Furama Resort Da Nang has provided a platform for not only talented chefs from Da Nang and Vietnam but also chefs from around the world to showcase their skills, bringing cuisine closer to the local community.
